Concrete that is ground and sealed does not produce the wearability and sheen that a polished concrete floor does. Grind and seal installations are performed by grinding the concrete with 18, 30 or 40 grit metal bond segments, followed by the application of a cementitious patch to cracks, joints and divots. The concrete is then ground using a 60 or 80 grit metal bond segment and finally sealed with two coats of a water-based acrylic finish. This type of finish exposes a salt and pepper size aggregate and typically requires frequent maintenance with a wearable protection type finish material (wax). Contact our professional sales team for more information.
